Thanks for the info Matt. This review was written from a pre-release CD sent by the record company that came without a booklet so I was going off what information I had at the time. To be honest I’m not familiar enough with Starkey to spot his playing and the info I had was that he was the drummer on the album. I apologise for my error.

As for who sings on what, the only one I spotted as clearly Pete from the off was “You Stand by Me. “In The Ether when it doesn’t sound like Tom Waits sounded to me at first, like Roger although I now know it is in fact Townshend. “God Speaks to Marty Robbins is Pete as well this time singing Robbins style rather than Waits.

Nowhere in the review though did I say I was a Who admirer or even occasional listener (although I do fit into the later category). That’s one reason I was so surprised at how much I enjoyed the album. My Who collection consists of one double CD of greatest hits and I’m not overly familiar with Pete Townshend’s solo work, I do own (but only on tape) Roger’s Under a Raging Moon album. Thanks to this album though I want to hear more and plan to invest in some of their back catalogue soon.

Ian: Make sure you do your homework on who ACTUALLY sings the vocals and plays on the tracks. Zac Starkey only plays on one album track and Pete sings MANY of the songs on the album without Roger's help. Your article's inaccuracies in this regard certainly don't make you out to be any kind of Who admirer, or even an ocassional Who listener.

ian: make sure you do your "homework" (e.g. palentology) the jurassic time frame was a "period" not an "era" in your first sentence on the Who album review. cordially, paul
